Our Company
IPBD Distributors Ltd was founded in 1991 as a family business specialised in the distribution of magazines, newspapers and publications in Mauritius. The company quickly built a strong and reliable distribution network that became the foundation of everything that followed.
In 2002, IPBD created its FMCG Department, launching with the iconic HARIBO brand. This division has since grown into a curated portfolio of 30+ premium international brands across grocery, organic, confectionery, nuts, juices and personal care — all selected for quality, positioning and fit with Mauritian consumer preferences.
Today, IPBD distributes across all regions of Mauritius, reaching hypermarkets, supermarkets, bookstores, hotels, small shops, filling stations, schools and newsstands. The company also operates Presse Book — a branded bookstore concept dedicated to culture, knowledge and news.
